Our Family & Our Story

McCown Family Farms is a small, family-owned dairy farm in East Texas built on faith, family, and hard work. What started as a small project has grown into a passion for producing wholesome dairy products and sharing them with our community.

Our dairy began with a single Jersey cow named Bessie, who was originally Cody’s 4-H project. What started as a learning experience quickly became something much bigger for our family and laid the foundation for what McCown Family Farms is today.

Our family includes our four children who each play an important role in our story. Our daughter Aubrey is currently serving our country in the United States Navy. Our son Cole, who has autism, inspires us daily and has helped shape our heart for supporting the autism community. We proudly support Elijah’s Retreat in Jacksonville, Texas, and the incredible work they do serving families affected by autism. Our twin boys, Billy and Cody, help keep the dairy running while continuing their education, learning the value of responsibility, agriculture, and family teamwork.

Our faith is the foundation of everything we do. We believe that caring for the land, the animals, and the food we produce is a responsibility given to us by God. Through our work and relationships with others, we strive to reflect integrity, stewardship, and gratitude for the blessings we have been given.

Looking Ahead

As we look to the future, our goal is to continue growing McCown Family Farms in a way that stays true to our values. We hope to expand our dairy products, serve more families in our community, and continue building something meaningful that our children can carry forward for generations.
